After a short conversation between Matt and Jed, the Wolverines are attacked and Jed is killed in the firefight. Visibly shaken, Matt and the rest of the Wolverines escape with the suitcase. The next day, Robert comes to the realization that during an earlier escape Daryl had been tagged with a tracking device, explaining how the North Korean's tracked them. After some thought, Daryl accepts the fact that they can't go on with him, so he stays back and presumably dies when the North Koreans track him.

Sergeant-Major Tanner and Smith depart in a UH-1 with the suitcase while the Wolverines stay and continue to fight. By raiding prisoner camps, the Wolverines create the largest resistance group and continue their efforts to battle the invasion, with Matt now leading the effort.    WATCH MORE VIDEOS

The principal characters were cast the following year and the film went into production in September 2009 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Originally scheduled to be released on November 24, 2010, the film was shelved due to MGM's financial troubles.
